The Department of Mechanical Engineering, MNIT Jaipur, is pleased to announce a Short-Term Course on Computational Mathematics for Boundary Value Problems (BVPs) and Initial Value Problems (IVPs) Dates: 4th - 8th June, 2025
Venue: MNIT Jaipur Campus, Rajasthan, India
This program will be conducted by Prof. Karan S. Surana, Deane E. Ackers University Distinguished Professor, University of Kansas, USA an eminent academic and researcher in computational and continuum mechanics. (Refer to the attached brochure to know about the expert.)
The course will explore:
- Variationally consistent integral forms for BVPs and IVPs
- Advanced finite element formulations and convergence behavior
- Applications in solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, and applied mathematics
The program is open to:
- Faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals
- Students (B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech./Ph.D.) in engineering, science, and mathematics

Note:Please note that this course is in continuation of the Fulbright Specialist Program (FSP) on the theme "Nonlinear Dynamics and Bifurcations in Classical Solids" being organized during 24th May - 3rd June 2025.
